Cold September afternoon in Phoenix

The low today in Phoenix was 67º and it occurred at 3:40pm, yes, you read that right, PM! This was thanks to a severe thunderstorm that moved over the area, bringing with it heavy rain and "cold" air for September standards.

In fact, this is the first time since 2017 that the temperature has dropped to 67º or lower during the month of September, and the coolest temperature Sky Harbor has recorded since June 2nd.
