About Weather Chit Chat
First and foremost, this site was created for fun and hopefully teaches people a little something about the weather along the way.
Everything started with a backyard weather station back in the early 2000s. On top of that a 1969 Volkswagon Bus was retrofitted with another weather station to be used for chasing (slowly). Combining these two things, the site WeatherBus.com was developed! Throughout the years it went through many revisions and updates that has led to what you see today.
WeatherBus.com has turned into WeatherChitChat to include more information since the Weather Bus was sadly destroyed in a fire. This new site still feature current weather conditions at the orignal location in Gold Canyon and in Northeast Mesa; but now includes an active blog so weather and climate information can be shared with everyone and hopefully you learn a little something.
