The mercury climbed to a scorching 113º in Tucson on Thursday (June 19th). This is only the 25th time Tucson has reached or exceeded 113º, with records going back to 1895. This is also the hottest temperature recorded in Tucson since June 19, 2021.
In case you were wondering, the high of 113º today does not break the record for the day, which stands at 115º, set in 2016.
