Phoenix high temperatures have been below average 70% of the year

Have you felt like it has been a little cold this year in the Valley of the Sun? If so, you are not imagining things, as 70% of the year has been below average (as of March 31st)!

The high temperature on March 31st was 70º, making it the 63rd day this year with a below-average high temperature. If you are keeping track, 21 days have seen above-average high temperatures, with six days being right at the average. For comparison, last year, at this same time, we only had 25 days that saw below-average highs, and 55 had above-average.
